  • Work alongside developers, data scientists, and other government customers to overcome IT infrastructure hurtles and implement new technologies in an Enterprise of over 70,000 users.
  • Part of the Innovations team responsible for research and implementation of new technologies within the SOCOM IT infrastructure.
  • Part of a DevOps team that built a Platform As a Service (PaaS) for the enterprise using RedHat’s Openshift Container Platform.
  • Provide a secure environment by utilizing DISA STIG requirements and openSCAP scanning.
  • Automated the deployment of infrastructure on AWS using RedHat’s Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • Built and managed multiple RedHat Enterprise Linux operating systems and RedHat products to include: RedHat Satellite, RedHat IDM, RedHat SSO, RedHat Quay, and RedHat Ansible Tower

Enterprise Network Administrator – September 2018 - September 2019

While working as a Network Administrator I had the unique oppurtunity to help deliver initial configurations for customers router and switches based on their requirments. I supported a large number of customers across the globe troubleshooting DMVPN configurations, EIGRP, DHCP, VLANS, and other routing and switching issues.

  • Provide Tier 1 / 2 support for remote sites located around the globe. Troubleshooting includes router, switch, and ASA configurations and KG-250 encryption devices.
  • Troubleshoot issues relating to DMVPN, EIGRP, DHCP, VLANs, and ACLs.
  • Implement approved configurations changes on the LAN/WAN to include subnet size modifications, Cisco VOIP phone configurations, and ACL modifications.
  • Upgrade Cisco device firmware and operating systems.
  • Monitor the enterprise network via Solarwinds 24/7 for network device and transport outages around the globe.

IT Helpdesk Technician – February 2018 - July 2018

  • Incident manager on shift responsible for triaging high priority / emergency incidents and outages, escalating them to proper technical leads within the enterprise.
  • Interface directly with supported end-users to provide hardware, software, network, and application problem resolution.
